I’m proud of the progress I’m making, just a few lil things to wrap up before it’s ready for the beta release 😁

so. in January I was in a bad car accident. fractured spine, ruptured discs, cracked pelvis, broken arm. last 4 months have been v hard. tonight though I'm going back to my adult dance class for the first time. I wasn't sure I'd ever even walk properly again so this is a moment for me. a good one

Sacha Sayan: Hey Thomas, can I pay for it with Google Pay in Google Wallet, which replaced Google Pay, which replaced Android Pay, formerly known as Google Wallet? Sacha Sayan: If not we can jump on a call and discuss billing. I'll send you an invite on Google Meet, the enterprise Google Chat, previously Duo, which replaced Allo, the replacement for Hangouts, the rebrand of +Hangouts, which replaced Talk and Voice.

    Aw yeah ban teens from social media but make it legal for them to work the night shift in the cold chopping room at the meat-chopping factory.

    These kids will hate us all forever and we will deserve it.

    The active shooter drills, failing to protect trans teens, taking their damn phones, burning their books and sending them to the factory. Fail fail fail fail fail.

    A number of governments (France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands), international organisations (The European Union, The Council of Europe, W3C etc), public broadcasters (ZDF, the BBC, PBS/NPR affiliates etc) have set up servers or accounts on the Fediverse.

    Please ask public services in your country/region/area to follow their lead. I can do a shoutout on @FediFollows to help get them started.

    Musk's Twitter hides all its accounts behind a sign-in page, so it's no longer a public channel.

    @FediTips @FediFollows let's be honest here. My country (Morocco) is very unlikely to ever contribute to the fediverse. I haven't seen a single Moroccan Mastodon account outside of my own. Most of us simply aren't very techie enough to know about this stuff, that's why.
