    @PallasRiot seriously what else are kids gonna do these days? If they're in suburbia they won't be leaving sight of their house without a parent driving them somewhere

    Things contemplated today:

    • Skincare routine ? Halp??
    • Residential wind turbines
    • Fem summer clothing beyond shorts + simple tshirts? Seeing advice
    • Seeding lawn with clover
    • Ok but like maybe I should get a haircut
    • How far will the creeping ivy spread?
    • Can my non grass lawns slowly invade my neighbors????
    • Would the neighborhood buns like clover more than regular grass??
    • Is this tree dead and what will it hit if/when it falls
    • Maybe I should take up woodworking as a hobby to get kinda into then abandon

    The Process

    1. Wait for laundry to pile up
    2. Do the laundry
    3. When really out of clean clothing go pick up laundry off racks in basket
    4. Pick clean clothing out of basket as needed for a few days
    5. Dump basket on bed "I'll put this away proper at bedtime"
    6. Bedtime. Dump it on the floor. Now there is a "clean pile"
    7. Do another load
    8. Take off drying rack, deposit directly in growing pile. It is now so big that it is harder to sort properly.

    Holy shit. I just talked a cis guy on the internet down from "Let kids be kids" and got him to see why gender-affirming care for teens absolutely cannot wait.

    This is one of my greatest achievements. I have a legitimate urge to take a victory lap.

    Hard to overstate how enshittified and botshitted Google Maps has become. Went looking for my local locksmith on Gmaps. Maps shows 20+ fake locksmith referral scam outlets and doesn't even register the real locksmith, despite it being fully visible in Street View.

    Instead, a red pin on the shop identifies it as a fake locksmith scammer. The real locksmith - which has been there SINCE 1942 (!!) and is a verified merchant - doesn't even show up.

    @pluralistic recently I went to a Dr apt, I was kinda in a hurry so I said the address via voice and went with it.

    I ended up at a farm barn outside of town. There is nothing obvious to indicate why it happened, no common street or town names. The Dr office notes it is a common occurrence.
