    @loren i haven't used it, but maybe onlyoffice? it seems like it's well funded and open. No idea about feature parity with excel.

    I think most people would object to forcing women to wear skirts. Beating up girls who do unladylike things like dancing or calculus. Many can even see how silly it is to tease a boy for enjoying painting more than sports.

    Most* get this.

    What I don't understand is how it isn't obvious that transphobia is the exact same impulse.

    There is no "reasonable" amount of transphobia you can tolerate without also supporting rigid harmful gender norms in general. 1/

    @futurebird isn't this one of the main ideas in 'whipping girl'? It's been on my read list for a while- scratch transphobia and you'll most often find misogyny.

    in another entry for i give you this very nice mourning dove sitting on the edge of a platform bird feeder. all birds are good birds, even the ones that may normally get overlooked or are rather common where you are

    @loren i love mourning doves. they always look a bit like a lump of mashed potatoes with a piece of long grain black rice sticking out the head
