Same as the other guy I volunteered for Obama and in 2016 I voted for her but I don’t/didn’t think she should be president. To me she was disqualified because she was the spouse of a former president. Same as I don’t want Michelle Obama to be president. I don’t care how qualified or if she would have brought about a utopian future. I don’t want families running the country.

Except the issue is systemic. You have a percentage of mega wealthy who simply don’t even pay their share. A few billionaires sending a large check to the government doesn’t fix anything. They could but until we change the way we handle taxes for the wealthy, we have a systemic problem we need to fix.

Speaking out that all the rich should pay more helps (maybe) make the case that those making hella bank should pay more.

If you’re 40 or under it isn't worth saving. Retirement is a Myth for Millennials onward. Unless we get UBI, everything is going to go tits up anyway.

If you believe the same retirement options that were available for boomers is realistically available for younger people, I have a 401k to sell you and a Social Security check is in the mail.

Without significant changes to the way we handle our economy no amount of savings now will make up for the shit that’s coming.

That being said, it should be noted I have a good paying job, I have a 401k, I have investments and none of that is going to carry any of us through to the retirement expectations that we’re being sold.

If you’re under 40, between automation and climate change, shit is going to get real very quickly.
