The highlighted section reads: "May 2024 - Two Americium-241 sources were deposited at a swap shop at Electromagnetic Field Festival in Eastnor, Herefordshire. The sources were recovered for disposal by a participant at the festival. These sources were rated to provide 3.5 μCi."

    @stanto Things you will enjoy:

    • The reusable cup vendors are absolutely astonished that we returned 95% of cups. Apparently that is the highest amount they've ever seen returned from a festival by a huge margin.

    • The bin vendor was shocked that all the bins were present and correct, and none of them had been damaged.

    • Some locals walked their dog through the site during teardown and say they love us because all the other festivals leave so much rubbish on site. They want to come in 2026.

    Every hour or so more people arrive, grab high-vis, and ask for things to do. There are hundreds of people frantically working because we decided it might be nice to go camping.

    I hope this email finds you. The email knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The email delivery subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the email from a server where it is to a server where it isn't, and arriving at a server where it wasn't, it now is.

Even though the shredded banknotes are small, by using computer vision, it is possible to reconstruct the whole banknote like a jigsaw puzzle. Each paperweight souvenir costs $100 HKD, and it is claimed to contain shredded banknotes equivalent to 138 complete $1000 HKD banknotes. In theory, $138,000 HKD can be recovered by using computer vision. This paper discusses the technique of collecting shredded banknote pieces and applying a computer vision program.
