The candidates offered by the factions of U.S. capitalism both offer reactionary policies. Millions scoff at the notion of a “lessor evil” but … then don’t know what to do.

The most class conscious workers, students and youth must build the alternative.

@StillIRise1963 I agree it is an emergency and the U.S. ruling class knows it far better than workers do. Their old propaganda isn’t working so the attack on democratic and constitutional rights is now being accelerated by Biden.

Trump led an attempt to overthrow the elected government 3.5 years ago yet he and his co-conspirators are not only not in prison but Trump has a chance of being elected again. He won’t need another coup attempt.

What do you propose we do?

I’m still yet to see what anyone who say we “must vote for Biden” say should be done about the reactionary policies of the administration. The greatest protest movement in two generations hasn’t stopped support for the genocide in Gaza. Nuclear war is coming.

How exactly is voting for Biden going to stop fascism when Trump isn't even in prison for leading an attempted insurrection after 3.5 years of Biden's Administration?

(I agree)

This implies racism is derivative of something else and used to enforce those interests but he doesn't discuss those underlying interests here. Is that what the book says too?

Don't we need to expose those interests to fight racism?

I don’t understand Kendi’s concept of a “commodity”. The birth of a child depends on the mother even if its “property status” depended of its paternity.

It is hard to comprehend the brutality of chattel slavery.

Was this just an American development or throughout slavery? I did a subject on “slavery and seccionalism” once and this wasn’t mentioned.
