Hamas is a popular resistance movement, whether we like it or not. Destroying Hamas", as Biden or Netanyahu claim they intend to do, can only mean destroying the Palestinian resistance, destroying the Palestinian's will to resist.

This not only can't be done, it'll justify absurd amounts of violence against the Palestinian peoples, as is evident right now.

The way out is to recognize Hamas and negotiate with it, is that or genocide.

@lukevanin @argumento @palestine No. The Palestinian cause maintains the moral high ground because it is a cause of decolonization and refusal to give up their land and history to foreign invaders funded by the imperialist countries. Any resistance to that, including armed resistance, is morally and legally justified.

لا يعلم المرء على وجه الدقة كم مرةً سمع هذا الكلام من لاجئي فلسطيني في لبنان أو الأردن أو في غزة، وكيف أغلقَ باب منزله وسقى قِططه وشجيراته ونزح بعيداً، متأملاً العودة بعد أيام حتى تنتهي الحرب، ليجد نفسه لاجئاً مدى الحياة، وأطفاله وأحفاده قد وُلِدوا في مخيّمات اللجوء.
