Same, especially for concerts and events in my city. It's shitty to know how they target, but it's put me onto things I would have otherwise missed.

Also McDonald's seems to take forever these days. I had it in February in Portugal, and waited 20min for my food. Same experience when I have it here in Germany (maybe 1-2 per year)

What linguistic constructions do you hate that no one else seems to mind?

It bugs me when people say "the thing is is that" (if you listen for it, you'll start hearing it... or maybe that's something that people only do in my area.) ("What the thing is is that..." is fine. But "the thing is is that..." bugs me.)...

Is there a replacement that you're fond of? We use it all the time at work - onboarding free users, onboarding paid users, onboarding employees.

Knitting. Always see people do it on the subway or watching tv without paying attention or trying. Spent a few hours trying to learn once and couldn't do it.
