@LeviKornelsen I would have to see more. I liked the novel, where Elphaba is a complex, ambiguous character. The theme of that story is ambiguity, so I'm on board with that.
Seeing people's reactions to the musical tells me that the story is not that anymore. It's a lot of "Poor Elphie!" and "Elphaba did nothing wrong!" and I fear that the ambiguity has been lost.

Fellow indie creators, I've opened a brick and mortar store recently and would love to carry your products. If you aren't currently being carried in a brick and mortar store hit me up and let's see what we can do.

@thirdkingdomgames I'd be honored if you would carry my game. Adventures in Oz Fantasy Roleplaying Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.

@LeviKornelsen There were actually a number of GURPS Solo adventures for Conan and a couple of other settings. West End Games typically had a solo adventure as an introduction/tutorial in a number of their games, but I don't know if there was an actual product from them.

@LeviKornelsen Not my project, but someone is fundraising for a Solo adventure for GURPS Dungeon Fantasy. https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/douglas-h-cole/saethor-s-bane-a-dungeon-fantasy-rpg-solo-adventure

If Evil Genius games has been revealed to be, let's say, not genius, while Evil Hat games is known to be not evil...

...Symmetry demands that the sentient hat be real.

@LeviKornelsen but if the hat is sentient, it would be capable of making moral choices and could potentially choose evil.

Gonna go fly away in about half an hour, but: A stray thought:

    1. D&D DMs are often the ones who care about the rules most.

    2. People who care about the rules a lot often want to tinker with them.

    3. It's never been easier to become an small-press/indie designer.

    4. There's apparently a DM shortage.

    5. Obviously, they're all running off to make their own things.

Yeah? Yeah?! No. Probably not. But maybe?

@LeviKornelsen My current take on the D&D DM shortage is that it's the same age-old problem that D&D has had forever: the notion that a DM must be a player who has "leveled up" into the role. The real solution would be making GMing more accessible and fun.
