well, originally the !android community was shut down since it moved to lemdro.id. the decision to "unmerge" was made by the LW admins and we have no animosity for that but we also don't have any plans for merging since we already tried that.

We're certainly not against merging again, but it'll need to be initiated by the mods of !android with the blessing of the admins there (and I suspect the mods are not open to this). We've already given it our best shot!

I'd say "forces" is a bit strong wording. Most people at SpaceX genuinely love the mission and will work longer hours because it's almost a passion.

We're pretty well-compensated too.

Totally valid, SpaceX doesn't do a great job of trying to manage burnout. On the other hand, I personally work 40-50 hours a week to avoid burnout and have suffered no ill effects from doing so.

You don't HAVE to work long hours here.

i think you could theoretically drift to maintain velocity in a different axis while accelerating in reverse to technically not ever "stop"
