@yochaigal just released Rise of the Blood Olms, a great, short adventure for Cairn that can be run as a one-shot or easily extended by an experienced Warden. Nice setup, interesting location with some excellent environmental storytelling, and an emphasis on exploration; this is not just a bunch of monsters waiting behind doors.

Also, the location/encounter descriptions are very well formatted and would be easy to reference at the table.

Got this pamphlet adventure today in the mail. That was a really fast (and affordable) Kickstarter!

@Tim_Eagon Are you actively playing or, like me, mostly collecting cool stuff?

The greatest obstacle to creating mutual assistance networks for TTRPG development is the pants-on-head wrong notion that it's ideas that are valuable, not the presentation and integration of same.

Get past that, and it'd get a LOT easier.

@LeviKornelsen I wholeheartedly agree. Ideas aren’t the hard part. Putting in the work to get something in sufficient condition to put out into the world is the hard part.

@malin @LeviKornelsen Oh, also, every project reaches a point where you have to grind. The difference between people who are published and people who aren’t isn’t inspiration. It’s the ability to push through the grindy bits.

@LeviKornelsen @malin I usually attribute that to adrenaline, but sure! 😂

Me a few days ago when it’s -14 degrees: “Wow, it’s freezing”

Me now when it’s 14 degrees: “Wow, it’s so much warmer. It’s feeling nice.”

@Tim_Eagon We Clevelanders can relate. I think it was a 20 degree swing from morning to afternoon for us. I walked outside to get in the car and thought, “it’s positively balmy!”
