By far, the feature I most sorely miss in Linux compared to macOS is Quick Look. Press the space bar, see file contents. Use the arrow keys, view different files. Bruh read before you reply. Vanilla OS is based on Debian, not Ubuntu. It used to be based on Ubuntu. Not anymore.

Also, vanilla os is absolutely light weight compared to what people are used to.

I wouldn’t be so sure about xwayland, it would need the ability to insert keystrokes. I don’t know at what level it does that

I hold the opinion that free will is not compatible in a universe with physics. Decisions can be random, but I don’t think the concept of “free will”, as every decision comes from the randomness of the universe, and outside factors. Not “consciousness”
