Francis Ford Coppola (85 years old) just released the teaser for his new film, Megalopolis.

It's pretty wild for a lot of reasons but this is the biggest one: he funded it himself. $120 million dollars, selling a ton of his personal assets, and breaking the core rule of film producing: never invest your own money.

If I were rich enough I’d

1. Buy google adsense a huge buy
2. target ads at myself: audience of one
3. make ads transparent zero width images
4. Experience peace at last.

Why can’t they sell a “no ads” global package? I have blockers on most of my computers and phones but now and then I still see ads and I can’t deal with it. I know I can pay more than these people with their little before and after images of gross skin— and the ads for games that don’t exist and gambling ads.

He was deported to Auschwitz from Westerbork in February 1944. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.
