(24 Jan. 2024) 60+ year-old man living in #Idaho, USA. I am political in nature but try not to bore followers with every issue I believe is important.

Public Libraries are a significant issue to me. You can't hide or ban information and expect an open, honest, and intelligent society.

I read books ... fiction only. I'm into legal, spy, and crime thrillers. I also tolerate political thrillers as long as they aren't crazy right-wing in nature.

Project Hail Mary is fucking good. Someone online, maybe here, maybe elsewhere, said it was boring. Idk how someone thought that. I’m enjoying this book thoroughly. #bookstodon @bookstodon

I started reading the book, "Countdown to Midnight" by Dale Brown on April 24, 2024, and gave up on the book at page 280. This book isn't good and considering I have many books on my "TBR" list, I decided to quit on May 3, 2024. I choked through 65% of the book in 9 days. This is a long way to say I "Did Not Finish" this book.

Probably won’t cover as extensively unless things get interesting, but ’s / trial is back on today w/ continued selection.

A was quickly dismissed at the start. She was among the 7 already selected, she said she was very worried that despite the fact the court ruled to keep jurors’ name secret, she would still be exposed & targeted.

The NYT crossword puzzle person obviously can read and is reasonably intelligent. Trump certainly wouldn't want someone on the jury like that because Trump can't read so that juror isn't really a peer of his.

Are there any billionaires available for jury duty???????

$83 million is pretty damn expensive "free speech." I'm sure the or one of their PAC's will pick up the total cost. I bet the legislature is more than happy to have their taxpayers contribute to Trump's legal fees.
