@appassionato @palestine What I find repulsive and filthy about this slaughter is that their vehicle had all the charity banners on the vehicle including the roof. I remember when the IDF attacked an ambulance using the red cross on the roof as a target. It was a game for the perpetrators.

29 February 1904 | Jewish woman, Alida Nas-Hartogs, was born in Cape Town (then a British colony)

She was deported to from in January 1944. She did not survive.

@auschwitzmuseum this story was a little confusing. She was not transported from a town in South Africa. I know that Westerbork in the Nederlands had a Nazi transition camp established there.

The biggest challenge in 2024 is to get enough people to actually listen to what Trump and those around him are openly, consistently, and explicitly promising to do once they get back to power.

It is utterly deranged, and discounting it as just rhetoric would be a disaster.

@GottaLaff In France we have a phone app which highlights a number I don’t recognise (and so would normally never answer) as malicious or telemarketing.
