If your DM is throwing casters at you that would fail a DC10 Concentration check, you've gotta be sub-2nd level. 😅

Wait. You do sub-20 dmg at Tier III? Your DM is letting you bowl with bumpers on.

According to Matt Colville, and I'm paraphrasing here,
"Your monsters should be doing average damage equal to 6, + 3 times their CR". Therefore, your < CR 13 monsters were so nerfed that their actual CR was less than half (+/-) the printed number. All due respect, but if you're training your players to interact with the game system in this manner, you're not only making more work for yourself, but you're setting them up for a rude fucking awakening at nearly any other table than yours. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Ironically enough, I generally can barely stand D&D these days, and much prefer systems like Blades In The Dark, Powered By The Apocalypse, Ironsworn/Starforged, etc., so please understand that while my criticism comes from a place of cited reference, in no way do I support the tactical "storytelling" that WotC sells to the unwitting and the brand-loyal. In fact, it seems that we're of very similar mind, after all. 🤗❤️

edit: I'd like to point out that I had the "privilege" of playing in a game that Gygax ran at GenCon back in the day, and Colville's "style" is cut from similar cloth. Some might enjoy it, but I genuinely wish the flyleaves of rulebooks still assured readers that the book's contents were merely guidelines to assist imagination among their group.

I would say this guy needs to go touch some grass, but maybe he'd be better off tokin' it a bit instead. 😅🤷🏼‍♂️

And was created to show the perils of unchecked capitalism, not encourage them. My own mother physically chucked the whole thing into the backyard during an argument between my brothers & I when we were young. Never again, Monopoly, you insidious PoS. 🤌🏼

Buy quality trimmers first. Then, hypoallergenic conditioning cream/salve for after washing it. Once you've got a routine down, try watching different vids on shaping/trimming, but a healthy beard comes first. Nothing handsome is gonna come from going in blind, so learn to take proper care of it first. 🤙🏼

The noblewoman probably didn't pay for the portrait, so the face was blacked out in protest

Fun fact: "irregardless" is a nonsense word.

You do you, but from an outside perspective you might want to consider, going forward: it makes you sound like an idiot.

That would be "devolves", technically. I'm aware of linguistic morphology, and you certainly have the right to choose your own speech patterns. For instance, do you also say "should of" instead of "should've"? 🤗

... So, is no one going to point out that, "simplex" is also the latter half of "herpes simplex"? 🤢🤦🏼‍♂️

edit: downvote all you want (reddit habits are hard to break, it seems), but the usage of Simplex in commercial product lines seems to have fallen out of favor by the mid-1900s... Conspicuously similar to the timing of said STI rampaging through the US population. Couldn't possibly be related, though. (see: link below)
