So Post News is the first post-Twitter casualty, but it won't be the last. I think it's clear that in terms of for profit microblogging, Twitter and Threads are going to be the ones to survive (I have zero confidence in the long term viability of such services as Cohost, Hive Social, Spoutible, and even Blue Sky). While I realize that and the aren't free, they aren't beholden to same market forces as the others and I feel they will continue to endure.

@Tim_Eagon Yep. I keep finding Blue Sky to have an awful interface (and often takes too long to load). And I don't think Mastodon has anywhere like enough users.

@Tim_Eagon @CatDad There's always been a split in how players approach D&D. Some want more weight on PC backstories and continuing play, while others are all about defying risk (for a bit, at least) and death is part of the fun.

I'm back reviewing classic D&D adventures (Basic & Advanced). Posting (mostly) one a week at present. I've gone through most of the adventures published through 1984.

Leaving out a few rarities like the RPGA adventures.

This list should be most of the classic reviews I've done over the past decade and half. Fewer than I'd like!

But more coming soon.

In which the adventure finally reveals that the goblins kidnapped townsfolk, a chapter after it occurred. But there are nice encounters.

@Tim_Eagon @MerricB yeah. There’s some terrible oversight here.

@Tim_Eagon Very absent.

And given how few books they release, there's no excuse.
