She/Her

I am a tabletop game developer. I work mainly with rules lite narrative titles. My largest title to date is "Friendship, Effort, Victory," published by Far Horizons.

Currently, my major projects are:

  • Petmon, a rules light Digimon-inspired, narrative focused diceless game
  • Wild Hunt, an original variant on Fate Core that uses dice steps in place of Fate Dice that takes inspiration from works like RWBY.

@SymbolicCity No, it's from 2001 and from Japan.

Hey, my boss gave me a free kurieg because she's moving. I cleaned up that basin because it had crud on it. And my coffeee is watery. Any tips?

Maybe they never descaled it. It was her husbands and he just starting going to Starbucks directly despite dropping $220 on a Kureig.

Judging from the gunk on the side of the tub I had to clean with soap and water, I might need to run it with white vinegar to clean it on the inside.

@Covok Probably a good idea to descale it anyway, but I wouldn't guess that's the problem if your coffee is coming out watery.

If you're using loose grounds and a reusable kcup, I'd say try a finer grind. That should increase the body.

If you're using disposable kcups, then it might be the brand.

If a different brand doesn't help, then it might be an issue with the temperature, in which case, I wouldn't know how to fix it.

My brothers and sisters in christ, to all the PbtA Devs, because we seem to be the only motherfuckers who do this, do not say "the playbooks are available online so we aren't putting them in the print book."

For the love of god, pay the extra 2 dollars a book to print them. Otherwise, in twenty years when every download link to them is gone forever because the internet is ephemeral, your game will be literally unplayable.

I'm going to be really obnoxious about Discworld because I'm reading it and its a hyper fixation now.

Be prepared.

Wait, Sandworms eat humans. Humans are 70% water. How doesn't that kill them?

@LeviKornelsen I am literally experiencing that as we speak.

I decided to release the System Reference Document on Itch.io today to make it official and put it out on Creative Commons. I will likely follow up with Drivethru RPG shortly.

Now, "Magnificent Heroic Roleplaying" is out on an open license. You are free to use its text as you so wish to make your own derivative works. It is a retroclone based on an out-of-print superhero game from the 2010s.

Turns out it is easier than I remember putting things on DTRPG. I, for some reason, thought there was an approval waitlist. There isn't. So, it's out now. Should have done that as one post.

@LeviKornelsen OOOOh, that explains it then.
