@ElleGray When there are stars to look at, sure. I had to go deep into the desert in Utah to see more stars than I've ever seen in my life.

@luckytran I think "being a woman is a crime" in every Republican state beats this easily.

In the years after Trump's tax cuts, S&P 500 corporations spent $2.72 trillion on stock buybacks to enrich wealthy shareholders. That's more than what they spent on investments in plants and technology to boost production and create jobs. So much for trickling down, huh?

@rbreich That trickle has had a yellow hue and smelled of ammonia for 40 years.

@rbreich It's atonement for bad policy he supported in the past. He's the reason student debt isn't wiped in bankruptcy.

20 Republican attorneys general are demanding that the Supreme Court block individual states like California from suing Big Oil for their climate impacts.

Funny how conservatives only believe in "states rights" for certain issues.

@rbreich Republicans are chaos agents. They won't be happy until America is burned to the ground. With their anti-reality positions on everything, America will likely burn down due to uncontrollable wildfires.

In a misguided effort to be "unbiased," most news media have stopped calling Trump's Big Lie about the 2020 election what it is. Instead they're using terms like "false statements" or "claims without evidence."

Memo to the media: Calling out lies isn't "biased." It's your job.

@rbreich Only Americans would watch a coup/insurrection on live television and deny it happened.

    It can't be overstated

Putin is getting a huge return on his money. EU asleep as the far right spends and spends and spends and hammers on unfettered immigration

    And it works.

@flexghost Fascists taking over across the world. Just repeating history when communism and fascism rose up 100 years ago.

Rich donors are paying as much as $300,000 per person to attend a Trump fundraiser in San Francisco today. What do they expect in return for their money?

@rbreich Because almost all the people that lived through it 100 years ago are gone. History is repeating itself.
