It uses phones collectively to achieve goals such as increasing views, likes and comments. This is a paid service, often used for the purpose of faking popularity, increasing followers, and generating fake engagement. These setups are capable of mass activity in minutes.

@timo21 An excellent point: "back at their specialty of producing negativity in their readers regarding the multiple attacks on human rights from conservatives." Yes, they want to demoralize us, to make us think that concerted action to challenge autocratic impulses is impossible, wasted time.
