Does anybody have tips for frog habitat for the #pnw? My little hill of strawberries gets daily sprinkler action, but I don’t feel like there are many places for little frog friends to hide from the sun and the chickens. I don’t know what works well though!
I could lean concrete pavers against the walls of beds and make lean-tos. I’ve got lumber lying around. I’ve got a few small terracotta pots, do frogs like to live in pots on their sides?
I need to join in #TinyToadTuesday, y’all.
This is one of my strawberry protectors hiding in an old sculpture. I'm not too sure if it is a frog or a toad. It might be a frog, but I adore my tiny amphibian fruit defenders. 💚 🐸
All were safely delivered to the a nearby stream in the woods with lots of moist earth and hiding places. They were hanging out in our our basement (as in underground) skylights.
@nathanlovestrees#TinyToadTuesday I really hope this one catches on! Here's mine, probably a frog. No scale in the photo but it's about the size of your thumbnail.
