The head of the #German subsidiary, Thomas #Gottschlich, noted that #Taurus missiles will no longer be produced, as the defense industry is not allowed to manufacture stocks without orders. The joint venture #Airbus, #BAE Systems, and #Leonardo, among others, is the manufacturer of the Taurus cruise missile and Patriot air defense missiles.
While the US military aid has flatlined, and Olaf Scholz will not send Taurus missiles, Russia has just dropped one of the first ODAB-1500 thermobaric bombs.
Thermobaric weapons spread a cloud of flammable liquid and then ignites the cloud, creating a deadly blast followed by a lethal vacuum which rupture the lungs on humans.
Does anyone think Putin is worried about this being an escalation?
Stop talking. Give Ukraine every thinkable weapon, so they can defeat the evil before it spreads.
The German foreign minister is believed to be working on a secret plan to send #Taurus missiles to Kiev without crossing Scholz's "red lines."
One of the options being considered is to transfer these missiles to London and for them to finally send them to the Ukrainian army, although control over the deployment and objectives of the Taurus should remain in the hands of Germany.
Scholz fears that Kiev will use these missiles to attack Russian territory.
