Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone until the End of 21 May 2024
🔹In the northern #GazaStrip, Israeli forces have blocked two medical facilities and are fighting in Jabaliya. At the same time, air strikes by the Israeli Air Force continue in Gaza and the surrounding area.
🔹In the south of the Enclave, in the area of #Rafah, fighting is also taking place. There are no recorded advances by the IDF, and artillery and aviation do not stop operating in areas controlled by the Palestinians.
🔹In the #WestBank, Israeli security forces carried out several raids, and in #Jenin there have been clashes since the early morning, with local factions of the Palestinian resistance detonating several IEDs.
🔹On the border with #Lebanon, the exchange of strikes between the #IDF and #Hezbollah continues. Despite the liquidation of another field commander last evening, the number of shellings does not yet allow us to talk about an escalation.
🔹In #Yemen's airspace, the Houthis shot down another MQ-9 Reaper. The footage showed the defeat and fall of the UAV. This is the second shot down in May and the fifth since the escalation began on October 7.
Hostages of Israeli revenge in the Gaza Strip: Testimonies of 100 released Palestinian detainees reveal crimes of torture, cruel treatment
Palestinian Territory - In a new report released Tuesday, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor documents the testimonies of about 100 released Palestinian detainees. These testimonies confirm that the Israeli authorities and army committed horrific crimes of arbitrary detention, enforced disappearance, torture, and inhuman and cruel treatment against thousands of Palestinian civilians who were arrested as part of Israel’s genocide in the Gaza Strip, ongoing since 7 October 2023.
Palestinian journalists in northern Gaza report that the Israeli occupation has deployed an armored vehicle rigged with improvised explosive devices, remotely controlling it into the alleyways of #Jabalia refugee camp and detonated it near the police station within the camp .
In the most heroic act of self defense, Israeli military destroyed the flower roundabout in Nablus in occupied West Bank.
The criminal actions of IDF in occupied west bank is not receiving much publicity, but they are attacking every town in under Palestinian control under the cover of fighting "Terrorists" but in reality, they are destroying roads, infrastructure, bakeries, schools, electric poles, cellphone base station and hospitals and medical centers.
These actions can not in any way counted as self-defense or justified in a fight against Hamas or even the PA, these actions are to make lives of Palestinian unbearable and to punish them in the most barbaric ways.
And again, the so called civilized world is standing by silent and in compliance fully behind these atrocities while punishing and muzzling those who raise their voices against these crimes.
Israeli occupation forces are besieging Kamal Adwan #Hospital in northern Gaza. They have forced patients to evacuate, and many bedridden patients are unable to leave, according to local and media sources.
Every ranking officer participating in these criminal actions should be the target of #ICC for crimes against humanity and #WarCrimes.
The outrageous atrocities of Israeli forces against the civilian population of Gaza is beyond anything we have seen in modern times and sadly these barbaric acts go unpunished while #US, #UK and #Germany keep sending weapons and money to help Israel with their crimes against palestinians in Gaza.
It's not going to happen, but it's a step towards the right direction.
Judging by the way #ICC charged #Hamas, every ranking military serving in Gaza to be charged with #WarCrimes, just like they did with those in #Bosnia and #Rwandan.
But sadly, just #Netanyahu and #Gantz were those they could dare charging.
Scores of the wounded and sick die due to #Rafah crossing closure
Palestinian Territory - The ongoing closure of the Rafah land crossing, which connects the #Gaza Strip to #Egypt, has resulted in a dire humanitarian crisis for Palestinian civilians and has accelerated the #genocide that has been taking place since 7 October.
By blocking the Rafah crossing, Israel has tightened its grip and imposed a crippling siege on the Gaza Strip, cutting it off from the outside world and resulting in the deaths of scores of injured and ill people. Additionally, the closure of the crossing has hindered the flow of humanitarian aid and medical supplies, further undermining the efforts of the few remaining local #hospitals.
According to the UN, the number of Palestinian #refugees, who were expelled from Palestinian villages and cities during the #Nakba to Gaza, is approximately 1.4 million out of a total population of over 2 million, constituting two-thirds of the population in the besieged enclave, which has been suffering a new Israeli Nakba for the past seven months.
Rajha Abu Khalifa is one of many refugees in Gaza, who are older than Israel.
Again, about 800,000 people, half of #Rafah's population, are forced to flee due to the Israeli invasion.

Doctors Without Borders said that the intensification of the onslaught by Israeli forces on #Rafah has forced it to stop providing lifesaving care at Rafah Indonesian Field hospital as of 12 May.
US Ambassador Jacob Lew says that the US is continuing to generously send more weapons to Israel.
In an interview with Israel's channel 12, #US#Ambassador Jacob Lew said that the occupation state has not crossed the red line in #Rafah and that there will be no interruption in US aid to Israel.
He added that "it is wrong to believe that anything has fundamentally changed in the relationship between Washington and Tel Aviv."
"As everyone is focusing on the decision to delay one set of ammunition, everything else keeps flowing."

Thousands of truck/trailers are stuck on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing since last week because of the Israeli occupation of the border. Most of the fresh products in the trucks have gone bad and there is a risk of other items to be destroyed if #Israel does not allow the help to get in.
Over 1 million Palestinians, most of the women, elderly and children are stuck in western #Rafah without access to food, medicine and water. The situation is getting worse every day as Israel keep bombing them and pushing forward with 100s of tanks and armored vehicles.
