I saw a Royal Spoonbill when I went for a run yesterday. That made me pretty happy. I didn't have my camera with me, but I stopped my run and grabbed a photo with my phone.

The title says it all. What a gorgeous day to be out bird watching in south Texas in the early part of last March. I was at Lamar Point to see if any Whooping Cranes were still in the area. Several did fly over a little later so it was a perfect day of birding.
