Robins are the UKs favourite bird. They are happy to get close, to see what you are up to, like this one on our walk by the canal.

With so many rainy days, we have had quite a few coming to the feeders. They are really beautiful little finches. This is the male. They naturally feed on pine cone seeds, but the damp weather makes the cones close up, so are not so available. It seems like forever since the sun came out for any length of time.
