You can subscribe to any PeerTube video or audio channel via your favourite podcast app. The RSS feeds on PeerTube are now in a format compatible with podcast apps, more info on how to subscribe here:
If you make a podcast, you can publish it through PeerTube. PeerTube accepts audio file uploads, and you can choose whether to have a blank screen or a still image as artwork.
Can #podcasting be made to work with #ActivityPub as well as #RSS? Then podcatchers could work like a #Mastodon client, allowing us to interact directly via comments, favorites and spreading around the best episodes via boosts. #podcasts
update: it exists but no podcatcher fully supports it yet.

Spreaker got rid of their lower tier and my budget can't stretch to much more than $10 a month. And Buzzsprout block my VPN so they're now out haha. 1/3 Yesterday I annoyed you enough with politics. You know how it is: social media as an outlet when your insides are one big facepalm (bad to do that). 😎 Today I'm doing self-care. I'm sitting by a south-facing window, letting the new snow 😭 shine on me and scripting my podcast on an old laptop without an internet connection.
2/3 I had 3 hours of crazily intensive #writing ... on good old paper listening to Pink Floyd. It helped me to imagine my inner 3-D map of the podcast. I feel my podcast in 3D with multiple landscape-like layers of sounds. Therefore, the script has different colours.
I'm sure now that the next episode will be exciting!
