NEW on Witnessing Palestine with Frank Barat: Scholar and activist ANGELA DAVIS talks about the Israeli genocide in Gaza, the importance of South Africa's action at the International Court of Justice, and maintaining solidarity with Palestine.
"About 150 protesters, including Religious Zionism lawmaker Tzvi Succot, on Thursday morning blocked trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip from leaving Ashdod Port and clashed with [Palestinian] truck drivers working in the area.
"Some of the protesters, most of whom appeared to be West Bank settlers, were seen shoving truck drivers and harassing them. 'I'm the master here, you're the slave,' said one of the protesters to a driver during an argument."
"The UN’s children’s agency has reported that Israel’s genocidal siege of Gaza has orphaned 19,000 Palestinian children so far.
"All 1.1 million of the children in Gaza are currently in need of mental health assistance, according to UNICEF — but, with Israel having destroyed nearly the entire health care system in the region, there are little to no resources to be found."
The Gaza Strip is 41 km long, from 6 to 12 km wide, and has a total area of 365 km. If you take 1 km off for a "buffer zone", the total area could be reduced in about 50 square km. That's about 14% of Gaza's territory.
To that you must add the destruction of indispensable infrastructure, housing and medical services. The Zionists want to leave #Gaza inhabitable and further surrounded.
Realizing the world will probably not let them raze the prison and kill all the inmates, (personally i am not convinced) they have resigned themselves to simply making the prison walls more impenetrable. Poor dears.

At a protest in Haifa against the war.
The police initially canceled the demonstration, only after a Supreme Court intervention it was approved, but at noon instead of the evening and limited to 700 participants.
We were crammed in a small area with more than a hundred police officers around us. Didn’t feel like they were there to protect us.

We deserve the truth about what happened on October 7
Stories of atrocity on October 7 have been used to justify the ongoing assault on Gaza. But several of these high-profile claims have been found to be based on unreliable witnesses or even fabricated entirely. We deserve to know the truth.
Team Biden looked all over Israel and managed to find the bad apples.
There are four of them, and no, they are not government officials.
AP seems to be covering for Biden's spineless and inadequate move by burying what I would call a very significant detail, i.e., that this act only targets four individuals.
This type of settler violence and harassment is so widespread that it feels absurd to even have to point it out, and comical to narrow it down to four individuals. The entire settler enterprise is advanced by paramilitary groups, under cover of the Israeli army, and with the legal sanction of the state.
West Bank: Biden to issue executive order over settler violence | AP News
"The State Department, in a statement, identified the four settlers and described the accusations against them:
—David Chai Chasdai allegedly led a riot in Huwara in which a Palestinian civilian was killed.
—Einan Tanjil is accused of assaulting Palestinian farmers and Israeli activists.
—Shalom Zicherman was reportedly filmed assaulting Israeli activists in the West Bank.
—Yinon Levi regularly led a group of settlers from the Meitarim Farm outpost who assaulted Palestinian and Bedouin civilians and threatened them with more violence if they did not leave their homes."
The attack on UNRWA by Israel and its Western allies is an assault on the credibility of international legal and humanitarian bodies. Cutting UNRWA’s funding deepens the Biden administration’s complicity in the Gaza genocide.
‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ Day 118: Mass grave found of Palestinians tied up, killed ‘execution-style’
A mass grave in northern Gaza was found following the withdrawal of Israeli forces. The already decomposing bodies were tied up, blindfolded, and dumped after allegedly being killed execution-style.
In 1948, your bloodthirsty leaders brought disaster upon you. You called it “Nakba”.
In 1967, your bloodthirsty leaders brought another defeat upon you. You called it “Naksa”.
In 2023, your bloodthirsty leaders brought upon you both disaster and defeat. What will you call it this time?
