Yaakov Gudo’s son, Tom, was murdered in Kibbutz Kissufim during the Hamas led October 7th terror attack. On his son’s grave, Yaakov vowed that he will not rest and fight the malicious fundamentalist government and the criminal it is led by until they fall.
Yaakov also states that revenge is not a solution and advocates for peace.
Since a few days after October 7th, Yaakov is sleeping in a tent in front of the Knesset (the Israeli parliament). A couple of other family members of murdered civilians joined him. They protest there on a daily basis, calling for immediate impeachment.
Before the war Yaakov participated in the “Road to Recovery” project- an Israeli charity that connects Israeli volunteers with Palestinians in need of transportation to doctor's appointments and other medical care within Israel.
