Here, take some flowers because tomorrow is Monday aaaand the beginning of July.
This is a wildflower called Abronia found near Pyramid Lake in Northern Nevada. Taken on May 10, 2024. #bloomscrolling#FlowerReport#SundayFlowers
I have many kinds of penstemons in my garden. I love them all for their colors, long blooming period, and pollinator-friendliness. BUT this one is my absolute favorite: Palmer's Penstemon. Stalks are tall (about 4ft) and the fragrance is heavenly. Flowers are showy. It does well in the high desert climate. Highly recommended. #bloomscrolling#FlowerReport#highdesert#gardening
This is a pink viburnum I saw at the beautiful courtyard of the regional medical center a couple weeks ago. They created a wonderful garden for people who want to sit, rest and perhaps seek solace.
Now I'm getting ready to go to the reception for the pastel show I worked on since January.
Here, take some flowers because tomorrow is Monday. Ethereal apple blossoms we found on a nearby trail when we were walking with our old dog. Each blossom is about the size of a ping pong ball. I love how the lights are captured in this photo.#bloomscrolling#flowerreport#SundayFlowers
Trying to make the most of the daffs before they're gone. I have so many though I just gave a giant vaseful to a neighbor because I picked those three days previous and I have another bucket full from yesterday's picking.
My creative cup has pretty empty of late. Despite the weather bringing happy faces to my garden, I've got a bit of ennui.
I'm doing what I can to push through with at least one kind of creative expression while my manuscript languishes. So here's some more flowers.
Here, take some flowers, because tomorrow is Monday.
This is our peach tree our wonderful neighbor gave us two years ago. Yes, it snowed last night, again. #Bloomscrolling#FlowerReport#SundayFlowers
While searching for a certain view of the garden last year for a future planting planning reference I found these photos instead... which I have 0 recollection of.
They make my heart happy anyways. Like finding little reminders of sunshine to come.
