Since the Republicans, led by Convicted Felon Donald Trump, have nothing, they have to make things up. The economy is booming though many Americans choose to pretend otherwise, crime is down — so all they can do is offer up cheapfakes to make Biden look old and doddering, assuming we are too stupid to know we're being tricked by these cheapfakes.
A case in point: a video clip the RNC has been circulating, making it appear Biden wandered off in a daze at the G7, when — if you watch the actual, undoctored video footage of which the RNC has snipped a deceptive, doctored piece — he's walking over to chat with a parachutist.
As Washington Post writes (the link in /1 is a gift link from Marcie Owens),
"The use of these clips is an especially pernicious couple of examples of manipulated video — what we label “isolation” under our guide to manipulated video — because it’s intended to create a false narrative that doesn’t reflect the event as it occurred. The RNC and its avid followers in the conservative media earn Four Pinocchios."
They're lying to us. And have so little self-respect that we willingly lap up the lies.
