:bear_love: Ello sweet and lovely Friendos 💜 and #NeuroSpicy 🌶 friends :neuro:
I did something a few days ago that I've been telling myself again and again "I should just do it". Nope, nothing exciting, nothing drastic, it's actually a very simple and even a silly thing...
I've always loved the band Roxette. I made several big playlists on Spotify with their songs and all... But often, I wanted to skip to the songs I love that haven't been hits/singles. I wanted to hear the other songs...
So I kept saying that I should just make a private playlist and add the lesser known songs that I love... It's a simple thing to do! But somehow... I kept thinking that I should do it...
So I've finally done it and... Been listening to it again and again... 🎶 Silly me...
:bear_nuzzle:
Ah well... The simple things in life sometimes are silly hard to "just" do I guess... 😅
If any of you are interested in the playlist, I could set it to public and share the link...
Is a few singles but mostly tracks that didn't make it as a single (except the occasional b-side). 😊
My second #album, it soundtracks the Gamer Legion of Hasty Foxes (GLHF), an e-sports team with frame-perfect movesets, near-instant reaction times, and rapidly-declining senses of reality!
Faith, hope and literature. In the latest @fictionable#podcast Lauren Caroline Smith looks for God in her teenage years and finds belief on the bookshelf.
As an #aiartcommunity we should make a #music playlist on #Spotify of your guys favorite tracks.
Who’s down?
Send me some songs on here I’ll add them. Anything goes.
I'm wanting to leave Spotify (there are so many reasons for doing so) and I've read that Tidal is the streaming service distributing the biggest share to artists (probably after Bandcamp, but that's a different kind of service).
Has anybody experienced Tidal and seen drawbacks? Or do they somewhat have weaker values than Spotify's CEO and I didn't catch that information?
$30/yr after 7d trial, or ad supported. Either way I recommend using [ad]blockers.
They're a small company and kind of get strong-armed into weird things by some of the behemoth #record companies. Overall, it's pretty cool and worth the annual fee.
Just about any competition to #spotify is good, if you ask me. Plus, I think it's nice to see something that's just focused on playlists that anyone can see.
I’ve started testing out alternatives to #Spotify as they’re putting their prices up yet again! £20pm for Family plan now. 🙄
I’ve started with #AppleMusic as I had a 2-month free trial, but the Windows app is trash. It keeps telling me playback has stopped on another device. It wasn’t playing on another device in the first place. Also songs just randomly stops playing or starts from the beginning again. 🤦♂️
