This past week the Serbian authorities and Jared Kushner's Affinity Partners signed a 99-year lease deal allowing Affinity to overhaul two buildings in Belgrade which had been the headquarters of the former Yugoslav People's Army.
The deals were first reported earlier this year but the contract was just signed.

House Democrats are pushing for a hearing on Jared #Kushner’s business deals — the latest sign that they could focus their investigations on Donald #Trump’s family members as the former president looks to take back the White House.

Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner has said — out loud — that Israel should "just bulldoze something in the Negev [desert]," and move Palestinians there.
In the same breath, he spoke of how valuable Gaza's "waterfront property" would be if Israel "cleans up" the Gaza strip.

Yet some claim Biden is the problem with Israel and Gaza and who are willing to return Trump to the White House by voting third-party or abstaining?
The site that Kushner wants to develop was bombed by Americans in 1999. It was a military target, although with mixed civilian uses. The building (which #Trump’s SIL plans to destroy) commemorates Yugoslav Partisan victories over the Nazis in tense canyon battles during WW2.
This “deal” is a travesty for civilian victims of the 1999 war (Albanian and Serbian), in a country that wouldn’t exist without the #Antifascist struggle of the Partisans. 1/3
#Trump’s son-in-law #JaredKushner has offered his own solution to the mass bloodshed & displacement in #Gaza: some good, old-fashioned real estate development.
During an interview w/ Tarek Masoud, the faculty chair of Harvard’s #MiddleEast Initiative, #Kushner proposed moving #Palestinians to #Israel’s arid desert region to “clean up” Gaza’s “valuable” waterfront.
“Gaza’s waterfront property could be very valuable to—if people would focus on building up livelihoods,” #Kushner said, w/o clarifying who exactly would #profit off such a proj.
He suggested displacing remaining #Palestinians from “valuable” waterfront,& dropping them in the desert.
“…something in the Negev,…move people in there…,so that you can go in & finish the job.”
JVL describes the Negev as“oppressively hot”&“filled more w/dirt, rocks & canyons,which are no less forbidding”than sand dunes.
