How to publish sensitive messages?

Sexual, controversal, or political posts for example could be sensitive. Any thing probably offensive to other users

Use CW (content warning). There is a cw button at the down side of the message window. Click it and enter a title, like "sex, not for minors"

Add (not safe for work) in the text so the message can be filtered by whoever wants to

Use CW for sensitive pictures too. See the separate button at the image properties

@kinkita Just be aware, the is much wider than merely Mastodon. CWs are a Masto thing. Some of the many other sites have no such equivalent. Much has already been written on this.
