It began last fall when stepped forward as one of the leading critics of ’s w/ . But the contest grew into a broader proxy fight around the future of the Party, exposing painful fractures over , & in a diverse district that includes parts of & the .

The district’s 1st congressperson & a committed democratic , never wavered from his calls for a in or -wing economic priorities.

What an awesome ride. When they shut down car traffic for bikes, that difference in scale of infrastructure investment hits home

— I found the super motivating to redouble my advocacy to expand the bike network in

transit instead of cars is one GOOD way to help address change. The 40mi /64km ride (incl stops) took just under 3 hrs

Can’t wait for the next Tour de < > to explore each of the boroughs

Early Morning Bodega, 2019. A 24-hour, glowing neon oasis beckons the weary traveler.

The view down a city street as the first hints of dawn peek above the horizon in the distance. Down the street, we see a car stopped in the middle of a lane with its brake lights glowing red. In the foreground on the right side of the street is a brightly lit corner store with neon lights proclaiming, "3026 Gourmet Deli". The rest of the street is still mostly dark, and this shop looks almost supernaturally bright by comparison.
