@breadandcircuses@gretathunberg and they have been advancing technologies such as AI, cryptocurrency, blockchain, mass data harvesting, storage, and processing along with privacy and copyright violations, all of which waste enormous amounts of energy and water, and increasing energy usage with the only ROI being increased fossil fuel use, depleted aquifers. They are the epitome of poor management and extreme profligate waste. It has derailed sustainable investment and negated all reduction
@breadandcircuses It's unfortunately true, as is very obvious with how farmers in my country are currently demanding the exceptions and loopholes are extended for them
