16 April 1932 | A French Jewish girl, Micheline Caen, was born in Montmorency.
She arrived in Auschwitz on her 12th birthday in the 71st transport of Jews deported from Drancy. After selection, she was murdered in the gas chamber.
The callousness of people who would do this to children as wonderful as this child, and the many others like her down through history, needs to be recognized then and now.

Local police recently killed an austistic, schizophrenic who tried to steal cigarettes from a gas station. He had a pocket knife, but the so-called officers on the scene decided their only option was to shoot him multiple times.
@auschwitzmuseum Ever considered that this was just a girl, that died because someone hated a religion that her parents attached to her, that she had no saying in?
It's not that I approve of any of the actions that happened back then, but forcing children into a religion (any religion) should not be accepted. It should be a choice
