@plutonian i am an annoying kind of fallout fan and i loved the show too. i am not even mad about how it interacts with west coast/new vegas lore, i think it can all fit in sensibly and interestingly, bethesda's "it's always vault tec or the enclave"-y and "it's been 200 years but we still live in rusted garbage piles" as it may be
@Leonor@plutonian i don't even fuck robots, but i'm an irredeemable new vegas stan so i'm robosex-positive, f.i.s.t.o. is my homie. bethesda fallout stans are full of tragically repressed robosexuality, and i wish they would free themselves from todd howard's catholic guilt. i haven't yet seen how the new assaultron companion's romance arc plays out in fallout 76 though, maybe they're turning over a new leaf
@sluttymayo@plutonian Im upset at the massive missed opportunity of Rogue Trader to be a crpg in the warhammer 40k setting and not let us fuck an adeptus mechanicus
@sluttymayo@plutonian
at this point i feel like bethesda fallout basically consits of these two themes:
trying to find a family member
the process of finding a family member thrusts you into a totally-fucked rusty-garbage-pile world, but then pulling the threads further reveals that it's actually directed by various powerful, technologically advanced, well-resourced unseen hands underneath all that
