@GottaLaff I, for one, know that when I'm thinking "Brain implants," I'm thinking "Chemical that causes headaches, confusion, loss of muscle coordination and even death."
@GottaLaff The xylene is almost a technicality when you consider the risks to patients if the company goes belly up after the implants are in place and there’s no one to look after the hardware and software. This is a a well-founded concern from previous such companies. You have to trust Mr M and his investors a lot to be confident that you won’t be left with a bunch of useless wire in your head and your original neurological problem….

@GottaLaff $2,480 in total fines? Yeah, that’s sure to make them change their behavior. I’m sure that’s a tiny percentage of what they spend on illegally shipping hazmat, and likely less than the additional cost of shipping it legally. Now, add 3 or 4 zeros to that and it might have an impact.
