Oh yes this is true, except you don't need to lace them with anything, they just naturally seek "gay juice" then go around converting everyone.
Though the ants in that photo are carpenter ants not fire ants, and fire ants don't bite, they sting (but they also bite... but it's the stings that hurt...)
But all this means is that all ants are doing this... in the night and you won't even feel it.
