The Sun sets on this week, and on this flower.



Looking up at the skies, blue with a few white drifts of clouds. The Sun is shining in the corner of the image making a glow among some thin tree branches. In the center a golden yellow flower is backlit by the sun. It is a circle of flat pointed petals with a cluster of a few stamen tendrils in the middle of it. A bushy tree beyond the flower fills the bottom of the picture. It may be a flower called a California Flannelback.
