#vermont power failure menu, generator running: creamy cauliflower/potato/cheddar soup with fennel, and garlic bread. No estimated restoration time for our power. Doing fine. Toss another log into the woodstove.
@dillyd Been out for 8 hours! The new generator is fantastic — rock solid power, and it sips gas. Also quieter than the old one. I feel less stress than I did with the old one roaring and guzzling gas and flickering the lights.
No estimated restoration time, so I assume I’ll go to bed with the generator running.
