@vampiress my friends and I are already talking about how we expect to need to move off of Discord. I've yet to check to see if the one obvious alternative I know of, Matrix, is worth trying to spin up.
@vampiress I just saw this and had exactly the same thought - this isn't even remotely funny, given how entirely plausible it would be for Discord to seriously, genuinely roll out loot boxes.
Tone deaf as all hell over there at Discord, not like that's at all unusual for them unfortunately.
@vampiress It was a cute little April Fool's bit, and I enjoyed it. Still, a point could be made that the time and resources used to make this could have been used to make Discord better in some other way.
