It astounds me that a journalist (this jamoke IS a journalist, right, or is he a "journalist?") would be surprised by The Orange One lacking self-awareness. Where has he BEEN for the last ten years?
@n1xnx You're alienating me, Steve. @stevebenen is one of the best out there. He's a journalist/opinion writer for Maddow. He runs her website/blog. He's sharp as a tack and knows more than most people on this platform.

With him I’ve come to just expect it. Cult leaders have to be at least a bit delusional, after all.
He’s a lost cause. He will always be right, everything demonstrating the concrete truth to the contrary be damned.
What concerns me more is the tens of millions still wilfully wanting to live in the book 1984 who are choosing to believe him.
While I can not support 99% of what Nikki Haley represents, I nominate her for the Brass Balls Award for staying in the race and allowing Trump to taste a bit of his own ridiculousness.
Lack of self awareness and distorted self image are hallmarks of Trump and his supporters.
He actually thinks his hair looks good, spends hours getting it right. Then there's the obviously fake tan. But he looks absurd. For another example, see Stephen Miller's spray on hair. He apparently didn't realize how bad it looked.
This psychology is widespread.
Look at the attendees at any Trump rally.
They think they're smart, good looking, and right about everything.
They're just like Trump.

I've been curious if he isn't really trying to come across more unhinged or dangerous to try and threaten the people. It's one of the main reasons I want him arrested and put into solitary confinement. He isn't trustworthy, he is a known liar, he needs to be kept from normal citizens.

The longer she stays in, the faster he will break down. We could actually see a brokered convention where his delegates choose Haley in a desperate attempt to save the GOP as a whole.
