@futurebird@secretsloth That's true, that's what happened to me the first time I tried Mastodon, it looked dead and also it confused me. That was a long time ago, maybe in 2019? But maybe I wasn't ready yet, the second time everything just 'clicked' and I stayed in the fediverse since then.
