Billionaires have seen their fortunes surge by $2 trillion+ since the Trump tax cuts.

What's the GOP doing about it? Doubling down. They're trying to permanently extend provisions of the law that disproportionately benefit the rich.

It’s crystal clear who they work for.

You say, "When I say trickle-down economics is a hoax, this is what I mean."

The Democratic Party & Republican Party are also a hoax.

Trickle-Down Economics, Weaponized Law & Order of Democratic/Republican Party Fascist Duopoly/US Fascist Ruling Class, implemented by US Fascist Ruling Class against Working Class. US Fascist Ruling Class uses Weaponized Law & Order to deny Working Class Labor a SEAT AT THE TABLE, a legitimate Working Class Political Party.

@rbreich The stimulus had a lot to do with that. When prices go up ordinary people pay more, but the owner class is on the other side of the transaction and they earn more.

Putting that in perspective, the federal budget for 2023 was 6 trillion dollars. The tax revenue was 4.4 trillion dollars.
The budget deficit was 1.7 trillion dollars.

The joke about the US having "the best government money can buy" must be at least 35 years old, but has never been more obvious than today.

@rbreich we'd only have to eat a single billionaire. the rest would fall in line.

@rbreich sadly I think this is why fines levied for trump’s malfeasance are irrelevant. Putting him back in office makes helping pay them off a sensible investment for any oligarch.
