@GottaLaff @pthenq1 Orange County used to be very conservative, it was Reagan country; it's changed a lot and is more 50/50 now, but there are some very conservative pockets there still.

@GottaLaff had a similar issue 30+ years ago in Spring Valley CA. A group of Xtian Repubs ran for school board with the promise we wont force creation theory into the curriculum. Well they were elected and those Xtians promptly broke their promise. And one recall election later they were gone. Last election where I voted Repub. This x-Xtian saw the writing on the wall.
