@futurebird I saw "ghosts" in my college library, but in retrospect they were probably a combination of mental illness and lack of sleep. So, not very cool.
The only interesting library story I have is when one of the staff let it slip that a lot of the department believed I was an occultist who really was speaking with spirits. (I am not.) But that's probably because of my extensive weird checkout history and my fascination by a very old magical text by Johannes Jacob Wecker in the rare books collection.
