@pluralistic 17 million perished in the Holocaust. We rightfully condemn the architects and implementers of the Holocaust and subjected them to awful punishments because of their truly awful crimes.

Barring miracles, it seems inevitable we'll burn most of our fossil fuel reserves and go to +2.5º. Billions will die, our Earth blighted for the rest of time.

Exxon et al did this. Punish now.
