"hug your "—even if they don't want to. meals, especially with guests, double-especially with dishes they've never had before. clothing choices, particularly with formal events. "boys will be boys", "they're doing because they like you", etc. forcing them to apologise when they're not sorry. forcing them to forgive someone for harm done to them. and on and on. just having a conversation about consent isn't enough, and it's not just about bodily autonomy.
