    Is this a good time to point out that dinosaurs survived 40 million years longer than "the most intelligent creature on the planet" has?

    It's not the size of the brain that matters as much as what you do with that brain.

    @504DR @breadandcircuses Plus, dinosaurs are still around. I give small-ish omnivorous dinosaurs like crows about as good odds as rats for surviving this extinction.

    I do believe scientists believe several species of marine life (eg dolphins & whales) are more intelligent than people. They stayed in the water so that makes sense.

    I think cockroaches survive & will rule. Why would the dominant species need to be a mammal?
